BuildStack builds websites for handyman businesses and answers the leads they bring in. Four core pages, a page for every town you cover, a job form in the first screen, and one front desk that quotes your routine jobs from your price list, books them into sensible days, and replies by text, email and Facebook and Instagram DMs while you are on the tools. We have not built a handyman site yet — the live sites on this page are siding in metro Atlanta, fencing in North Carolina and garage doors in Massachusetts, built the same way.

Someone with a list of jobs searches “handyman near me” and messages the first names with reviews. If you aren't on the map, the list goes to someone else, and so does the next one.

Hang a TV, fix a door that sticks, patch the drywall, replace a faucet, put up shelves. The homeowner with a list books whoever replies first, and gives them the whole list.
Quoting small jobs pays nothing.
Every enquiry is a back-and-forth about sizes and photos for a job that takes forty minutes. Do that ten times a night and the evenings are gone.

It quotes the jobs you price from a list, estimates time for the rest from your hourly rate, and groups the visit. Anything needing a licensed electrician or plumber it politely turns down or sends to you, exactly as you tell it to.

Text, email, Facebook and Instagram, on your existing number. Text first, usually inside a fortnight. Email once your sending domain is warm, then social. Voice opens last, when it has earned it and you say so.

How much does a website for a handyman cost?
$3,500 to start, which builds the site and sets up the front desk, then $497 a month for the front desk on every channel, tuning and the Hub. If you already have a site that works, it is $500 setup and $297 a month to get it answered. Month to month, no contract. The site is yours either way. Two or more locations gets scoped on a call.
What about jobs I don't do?
You give it the list. It turns those down politely, or refers them to whoever you name, so you stop spending evenings saying no to things you never take on.
