Channel 04 · Voice

The line picks up.
And it knows the job.

Once it has earned it on text, your front desk picks up live on your business number — books appointments on the call, escalates emergencies to you, and never goes to voicemail. Voice comes online when you say so.

What it does

What it actually does.

01

Live phone answering

Picks up straight away. Tuned for trades calls — sounds like a person, not a hold loop.

02

Your number

Routes through your existing business line. No port required, no new number to teach customers.

03

Earned-trust unlock

Only opens after your front desk has handled hundreds of your text threads. You decide when.

04

Smart escalation

On emergency calls or out-of-scope work, hands off live to you — keeps the customer on the line.

05

Voicemail summaries

Voicemails get transcribed, summarised, and ranked by urgency. No more wading through 12 messages.

06

Spam triage

Blocks robo-dialers. Routes vendor calls to a separate queue so you only see customer calls.

07

Calendar handoff

Books appointments live, on the call, into your real calendar. The customer hangs up confirmed.

08

Transcript audit

Every call recorded, transcribed, and reviewable. Adjust voice and tone anytime.

The channel that picks up live

Voice
comes last.

Your front desk opens text first, in week one or two. Email in week two or three. Social in week three or four. It only picks up the phone once it has earned it on the other channels — somewhere between week four and forever, depending on you.

What it won't do

The honest list
of limits.

Every AI receptionist company sells you on what their bot can do. Most won't tell you what it can't. We'll save you the discovery — here's what your front desk doesn't do on this channel, so you can decide if it's right for you.

  • Won't go live on day oneVoice opens at week 4+, after your front desk has handled enough of your real conversations to prove it knows the work. There's no “fast voice” option. That's the whole point.
  • Won't dispatch a techIt books an appointment and notifies you. The actual routing of which tech goes where stays with you (or Dispatch, when that's ready).
  • Won't handle complex multi-trade jobs over the phoneAnything that needs a real conversation — large remodels, commercial estimates — gets pushed to a site visit booked on the call.
FAQ

What you'd
actually ask.

Why doesn't voice go live on day one?

Because voice is the highest-stakes channel — the moment your front desk picks up the phone, the customer is making a judgment call about your business in three seconds. Text gives it room to learn your prices, your tone, and the actual shape of your conversations. By the time it answers a call, it's already had hundreds of yours. Most other voice AI products skip this step and turn customers off.

Will customers know it's an AI?

If asked, it says so. But it doesn't lead with that — it leads with “Mike's Plumbing front desk, how can I help?” Most customers won't think to ask. The ones who do appreciate the honesty.

What CRMs does it integrate with?

Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Tradify, ServiceM8 — and any CRM with a webhook or open API. Bookings land in your real calendar. We don't run a parallel system.

What if the AI says something wrong on a call?

Every call is logged, recorded, transcribed, and reviewable. If you flag a thread, we tune the front desk and you can re-listen to the call to verify. In the first month of voice we sit with you on every flagged call.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts. We think you'll stay because the math is obvious — but you're never locked in. Your number stays yours, your data stays yours, your CRM stays yours.

Do you operate outside the US and UK?

Today, US and UK only. Australia, NZ, and Canada are on the roadmap. If you're in a market we don't serve yet, get on the waitlist and we'll let you know.

When the line picks up,
make sure it knows the job.

Opens in week four or later — only once your front desk has earned it.
